According to popular Greek mythology, Helen of Troy was Zeus’ daughter and since he slept with her mother in the form of a swan, Helen and her siblings hatched from an egg.
Alright, enough Greek mythology. Time for some ancient Egyptian – Osiris, the god of the underworld and death, but more importantly, also of regeneration and renewal.
Day 3: the Greek goddess Hera, Zeus’s wife. (The peacock feather is a reference to the myth of Argus.)
I’ll be doing a daily logo from now on until the middle of the semester – my theme for the logos will be mythology, so to start off here’s one for the Greek goddess Artemis.
Today’s challenge: create a drop cap out of one of my initials that represents something about me. I come from a long line of domestic crafts – knitting, crocheting, quilting, sewing, I’ve dabbled in it all (am I very good at any of these? No. But I dabble.)
